For a long time I was too egotistical I suppose, and frightened, to accept the fact that the audience, after all these years have given me their friendship. We like you, you’re nice. Not until Coco did I really understand. I thought they were my natural enemy waiting for me to fall down or break my neck or be a flop. I don’t think that’s true.
